On Saturday, April 26th, we had a great time at City Hall at a gathering of all of Eugene's Neighborhood Associations. The morning started at 8:30 as we all arrived and were treated to some lovely muffins and coffee to get the blood going. About 40 people representing nearly all of the 25 different groups representing Eugenians. We then went into the Chambers to listen and ask questions about important things happening in our communities that have a direct impact on our lives. Our Mayor Kaarin Knudson was there to great us and stayed to talk. City Planning's Stuart Warren and Leah Rausch gave a couple of very informative talk about how Eugene is working on making each neighborhood more sustainable and healthy. This was followed by a talk by Michelle Parkins from the Public Spaces Incedent Command Team, which deals closely with the Police, Public Works, and Homeless Outreach programs to deal with
issues happening in our city.
Here are some links to the various departments that we should be working closely with.

Overall a very informative and eye opening experience, and we all had great questions for the city's representatives. The best thing about this event was the opportunity to meet, talk, and get to know other people active in our community. Together, we can work together to make this city everything we need and want it to be!
