What: ABC is a member of the Eugene Healthcare Coalition. EHC is currently organizing a (second) Citywide Healthcare Forum and Health Fair

When: The afternoon of Saturday, March 1st, 2025. Time TBA

Where: Willamette Christian Center 2500 W 18th Ave Eugene, OR 97402

Why: The 1ST Citywide Healthcare Forum was organized by the Churchill Area Neighbors and occurred last Sept 28. The forum was a great success. There were 400+ attendees. Panelists included Oregon legislators, healthcare providers, and activists.

EHC was organized in response to the announced closure of Eugene’s only hospital, the exodus of many physicians and patients from the Oregon Medical Group, defunding of White Bird Clinic, and the general decline of availability and quality of health care in Eugene. Its mission includes education and advocacy.

The purpose of 2nd forum is to provide information about ongoing efforts to improve access to and quality of health care in the Eugene-Springfield, and to discuss what we as community members can do to support these efforts.

Local healthcare providers and advocates will also be on hand to exhibit and answer your questions before and after the forum.
