On Monday, June 23, the Eugene City Council voted unanimously to adopt the 2025-2027 Biennial Budget for the City of Eugene.  This budget reflects work that has been underway since the spring of 2024 to solve a $11.5 million General Fund annual gap over the upcoming budget cycle. The adopted budget includes $4.7 million in new revenue, $3.8 million in service reductions, and $2.2 million in reduced investments.

The new budget will go into effect on July 1, 2025. The finalized adopted budget book will be posted on the City’s Budget webpage [https://eugene-or.gov/106/Budget] before the end of September. The 2025-2027 Proposed Biennial Budget, Amended Proposed Biennial Budget, approved Budget Committee motions, and other agenda materials are currently available online.

City Council also approved the Eugene Urban Renewal Agency 2025-2027 Biennial Budget and adopted the fourth supplemental budget of the current 2023-2025 biennium.
